Testing as part of women’s health intelligence
Women’s health is biologically dynamic.

Ovarian reserve markers may help estimate expected response to ovarian stimulation, but they do not alone determine whether pregnancy is possible.

- previous pregnancy history
- previous IVF response
- endometriosis or pelvic history

The aim is not to reduce fertility to one number.

Timing matters
In women’s health testing, timing can change interpretation.
A hormone measured in the follicular phase may mean something different from the same hormone measured after ovulation. Progesterone is only meaningful for certain questions when timing is considered. Pregnancy markers change rapidly. Menopause transition can make some hormone patterns variable. Medication or hormone therapy can alter results.
Testing should therefore define:
- why the test is being done
- when it should be measured
- what context is needed
- what result would change the next step
